The of the months are finally in! The poll has been locked and you guys have chosen February's Female and Male of the month! Congratulations to Vegas Starr and Sebastian Stone on winning and thank you all of those who voted! Next order of business is, dare I say it? Yes, I will! Valentine's Day! Instead of a typical dance, Malibu Springs has decided to, instead, have a weekend retreat for all staff and students! It will be taking place the 13th of February until the 16th of February and upon arrival back, students will be able to have their families visit them! The weekend retreat will basically be a camping trip but do not try any funny business! This caming trip is in the forest/mountain area of Malibu where patients and staff will be able to get in touch with nature. No electronic devices will be permitted-that means: no cellphones, ipods, cd players, walkmans, beepers, pagers...nothing. The only acceptions are to staff members and if a staff member feels it is necessary a patient has one-in which case a note must be written and sent to the Headmaster prior to the retreat. Anyways-thanks for those who have recently joined and I hope everyone has an enjoyable stay here at Malibu Springs!

JANUARY 23RD
Yay! We officially have fourty four members on the site! I'm very happy that the site is doing so well and I'm looking forward to it continueing to increase in the amount of members and posting and plottage and yummy forum goodness! And as a reward, of course, the Winter Fling was created! Next on the agenda now if the Of The Months. Now, I will be posting up the code people will need to fill out in order to nominate someone for these positions. It will be soon! And the voting will most likely start sometime next week and finish around the end of January/begining of February. So that will give everyone enough time to post and get nominated! I will be placing a list of the people who can be nominated. These people are those that have posted in the activity check so if you are new, I'm sorry you can't be nominated D: !!! But you will be able to be nominated after the next activity check for the March Of the Months :] So no worries!

JANUARY 16TH:
Okay, I'm sure the majority of people have posted in the Activity Check. Of course, everyone still has just about three to four days to post there before it is locked and those that havent posted there or in the absense board will be deleted (ugh...i hate being so negative D: ! ) Anyways, this announcement is in regard to the upcoming winter fling on January 19th, 2009 which is Monday! So people should definetly start looking for their dates! There will be a thread in the 'fun && games' board to see who is wearing who and who is whose date so there are no confusions and such! For more information, please read in the following thread if you have not done so already: CLICK ME! Another reason for this announcement is the female character ban! Yes, we have too many! If you already started a female charrie by all means finish it but after January 16th, females are banned until further notice! Currently there are 18 females and only 13 males! Once things get a bit more evened out, I shall remove the ban. But until then, please consider joining as a male! Especially a doctor or a nurse! Other than that, to any new members: welcome to the site and I hope you all have fun and enjoy :)

JANUARY 13TH:
Hiya everyone ^-^ and welcome new members! An activity check has been posted in the suggestions && questions board of the info center-which is the very first category. The activity check will last from now until tuesday, january 20th, 2009. Please make sure to post there! You can click the following link to get there-if you are lazy >:O haha jk jk: CLICK ME! Moving on from the activity check, I am glad to see everyone so active :] so obviously, the reason for the activity check is just to see which ones of will make it to became male and/or female of the month! Since we already have over twenty members, once those who are active have posted in the activity check, those will be the only ones who people will be able to vote for. If you are new-sorry! You need to have been accepted on or before january 13th! But don't worry-you might make is next month :] Until the next announcement! RAWR!

JANUARY 9TH:
Okay. The reason for this announcement is: the posting alias code. Yes, I know it will now be a bit more difficult if someone has multiple accounts. The code has been giving trouble to any proboards site using that code. Why? Well, after the staff(*cough* brooke *cough*) checked out proboards support, she told me that when they updated the sites, it made the code 'turn off' in a sense. Hence the popup every single time you would click anything on the site. So, for now, I have removed the code and we will have to live back in the stone ages! Sorry, again, for the inconvenience and if you have any more questions regarding this topic, just post in the questions && suggestions board under the info center category(first one for those who are a bit slow on the up and up hahaha jk jk). We(the staff) will be keeping an eye out to see if the code is fixed or the error is fixed. Again, sorry! Not our fault! Blame the higher power! (lol).
